Today whilst working at spring school at Hereford College of Art I popped from the IT room to the library to see if I could find any inspiring books for our budding photographers.
This one was really just for me but the students seemed to like it too. Charlotte Cory’s book entitled ‘The Visitors’ is just wonderful. Vintage portraits with animal faces mounted onto their faces makes for an entertaining concept that is both lighthearted and quite unsettling at the same time.
So now obviously I am wanting to stick animal faces onto every photo of myself but alas, I need to do university work and I am not sure that is going to be the most productive way to spend my evening.
Let’s see what tomorrows hunt through the little library brings.
